Talking and stuff

Suzu was walking through the vault, looking for Hayato. She'd been told he was here.

Hayato stood over one of the sphere shelves, looking tired and distracted.
"..."

"Hayato?" Suzu spotted him and walked over.

He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye.
"Ah, Suzu.."
He leaned down and gave her a soft kiss on the lips.
"You don't normally come in this early. Is something troubling you?"

She hugged him. "I came because I had something important to tell you." She said quietly.

He hugged her back.
"Of course, please sit down,"
He pulled out a chair for her from a study desk, sitting down on the desk itself.
"What is it..?"

She sat down and inhaled deeply, quite nervous. "This is going to change your life. I need to ask you something." She reached out one hand to take his. "Promise me you'll never leave me?"

He smiled gently and took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"I promise you, i'll never ever leave you.."
He nodded.
"We worked so hard to be together, i'm never giving that up..."

She smiled. "I needed to hear that." She stood up. "You're gonna be a father!" She smiled wider.

He froze for a second, feeling his jaw drop open before he promptly shut it again. As soon as he'd done so, his face broke into a wide grin.
"You're kidding!"
He picked her up and spun her around.
"Thats fantastic.."
He kissed her and gently set her down.

She laughed and hugged him as soon as she was set down. "I'm not kidding."

He nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck and hugged her tightly.
"You're gonna be an excellent mother.."

"Can't say the same for you." She grinned cheekily. "But you will be a good father, that is if you don't over-hug the poor kid." She laughed a little, teasing him.

He reached and arm up and cuffed her over the head.
"Yeah,yeah..."
He let her go.
"Okay...I have something i need to do..."
He pulled a small box out of one of the desk drawers and got on one knee.

She immediately understood what he was doing, and gasped, on hand flying over her mouth in shock.

He opened the box, a silver ring with a glowing gem in the middle of it shining from inside it. The gem was clearly recognisable as a shard of Hayatos sphere which had been placed inside the ring.
"Akira Suzu....Will you marry me..?"

"Yes, I will," she smiled happily.

He calmly stood up, gently sliding the ring on her finger before losing all composure and kissing her, overjoyed.

She giggled and kissed back, going on a high mode, being unable to stop smiling.

"Well well, arent you the happy one,"
She smirked, picking her up.

"Well aren't you the one who made me the happy one," she replied, her silly grin still unable to unstick from her face.

"Why, yes. I was, but i DIDNT put that on your face,"
He pointed to her grin.

"Oh, but you did." She giggled.

"And how did i, hm?"
He poked her nose.

She quickly bit his finger lightly and managed to mumble, "You make me happy, so I can't help but smile," while 'nom nom nom'-ing his finger gently.
