Suzu stirred. She was lying on something warm, and she could hear a soft beating sound. She opened her eyes and froze. 'Ah shit.'

She was lying on Hayato, her head directly next to his. She fought the urge to blush, but still felt the colour rise to her cheeks.

Hayato heard someone speak and opened his eyes a fraction. There was Suzu...Lying on top of him. His face went bright red and he lost the will to speak.
"S-Suzu-Chan...Uh..Y-you're feeling better?"

"Y-yeah...Uhm..." She blushed entirely and averted her eyes a little.

She's so cute when she blushes...
"T-thats good..."
He smiled.
"Uh...I'm no expert but you could've at least bought me breakfast,"
He joked.

She blushed even more. "I only just woke up," she pointed out. "And I have no idea where your kitchen even is."

He chuckled.
"Don't worry about it...I'm just glad you're ok.."
He gently lifted her off and kissed her cheek.

She went bright red. "I'm sorry I broke down on you earlier... I don't really remember much about what happened asides from that." She swallowed her shyness so she could actually talk without saying anything completely ridiculous.

"No, its alright...You got upset, its fine,"
He smiled slightly, still red in the face, and brushed some of Suzu's hair out of her eyes.
"I'm just glad i could help..."

She smiled, still embarassed but shook most of the rest off. "What exactly happened? I'm pretty sure I didn't fall asleep like... that." She finished lamely, red dusting her cheeks again.

"I'm...Not sure...I remember falling asleep..and the couch is pretty small so i probably fell off, and you went with me since you were holding onto me.."
He murmered.
DON'T lean in...for the love of god don't lean in!
He cleared his throat.
"Well, at least thats the most likely option..."

"O-okay," Suzu blinked, still a little confused. "Is something wrong?" She looked at him carefully.

"N-no.."
He shook his head, red staining his cheeks again.
"I-I'm fine, Suzu-Chan.."
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAN! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!! YOU DON'T SOUND VERY CONVINCING!

"You don't sound very convincing," Suzu said doubtful. She lifted a hand and placed it on his forehead, trying to check if he was sick. "You didn't get ill like I did, did you?"

If it was possible, his blush became even worse.
"I-I feel o-okay...R-really Su..."
He smiled shyly, his stammering really not helping matters.
Oh hell, she's getting closer!

"Well, if you're sure..." She drew her hand back.

He nodded and stood up.
"I'll get you a glass of water,"
He started walking then stubbed his foot on a box of some kind.
"H-huh?"
He bent down and opened the lid. It was a box of things from when he was a kid.

"Something up?" Suzu turned.

He carried the box back and sat down next to her.
"Just found some stuff from when i was little. Wanna go through it with me? We havent got much else to do.."

"Sure." She shifted up beside him to see better.

He picked up a piece of paper and shrugged, deciding to look at it after he had seen what Suzu had picked out.
"Hm? Whats that?"

Suzu smiled. "Is this you?" She showed him the photo.

He blushed.
"Uhm..Uh...Y-yeah..thats me,"
He rubbed the back of his neck.

She grinned mischievously. "Awwwwwwww you were such a cute little kid!"

He blushed redder.
"Eh...I...Uh..."
He looked down at his knees, too shy to look at her and too embarassed to look at the picture.

She grinned wider. "I mean look! How adorable!!"
